McCoy Water Filter, Inc. is family owned and operated and founded on three generations of water treatment experience. Brian McCoy's grandfather, John O. McLean, invented the backwash water filter in 1955 and founded McLean Engineering, Inc. in 1971. Brian worked for McLean Engineering, Inc. for 12 years as a master service technician for the MacCLEAN Iron System. Brian McCoy's parents Dan and Sandy McCoy unfortunately sold McLean Engineering in 2004 after John McLean passed away. Brian McCoy founded McCoy Water Filter Inc. and is a Virginia State Licensed Plumber. Brian engineers, installs & services custom water treatment systems, water pressure and pump systems, and water conservation systems. We are the only water treatment company that holds Brian McCoy’s patent on entire water treatment methods: The McCoy Iron Removal System & McCoy Sulfur Elimination System. Our company also maintains countless McLean Engineering, Commonwealth H2O, & American Environmental water treatment systems in the area. We carry all service repair parts for systems up to and over 30 years old. Service parts are new and are still being manufactured. If you have a water treatment system that worked fine for years and is not working now, Brian McCoy can fix it. Many companies out there will tell you your system is outdated or cannot be repaired and aggressively attempt to sell a new system. Brian enjoys proving these other companies wrong and he does it every day. Call Tracy McCoy and ask to see Brian today. Brian will be glad to give you his professional and logical diagnosis and a quote on any repairs. Most likely he will be able to perform repairs the same day.
