Unfriendly and bad negotioting ability, customer service and attentiveness were severely lacking.
We found one couch that we like and decided to make a bid on it. We offered 300 (to be paid in cash)below what was being asked for on a piece over $1500. Their take it or leave it response was $25 below sticker price. They're reasoning for the low b... (More) We found one couch that we like and decided to make a bid on it. We offered 300 (to be paid in cash)below what was being asked for on a piece over $1500. Their take it or leave it response was $25 below sticker price. They're reasoning for the low ball offer was "we don't need the business." (nice huh?) We expected to continue negotiating or get a resonable counter offer, but instead were given a "we don't care" attitude. We were very courteous even after the rediculous counter offer, as we still hoped to get the couch for a decent price. Now, I'd glady rather pay $200 more to another vendor, to keep this business from profitting. I'm a small business owner myself and understand hardball tactics and smart business strategy, but I know terrible customer service when I see it. They make the customer feel unimportant. I hope they like their stuff, as I can't see them selling very much using these "tactics". Myadvice is to try anybody else, it can't be worse (Hide)
