I went to visit Thomas Acierno to drain an infection and would not recommend him for anything. After draining the infection, he left the uncompleted root canal hole exposed. I asked him it was ok to still eat food he said no worries, since I was to return the next day. I went to the pharmacy to get the prescribed antibioitic and found out that I was prescribed an antibiotic, for which I am highly allergic. I clearly wrote my allergic medications, on the admittance form. Based on this huge oversight, I decided to go to another dentist. The other dentist was amazed that the canal was left open. "An all you can eat buffet" for the bacteria causing the infection. So I told him that I was due to go back to the dentist the following day and that is why he left open, plus the other dentist said it needed to be open to drain. He said there are other ways to allow drainage and keep the food and bacteria out. This guy was arrogant and in my opinion. A "Chop Shop" dentist mentality.
