I give Tellez Tamales & Barbacoa a FIVE STAR Rating. Since I moved back to San Antonio, TX. It has been extremely difficult to truthfully find great taste, flavor and meaty tamales. Everybody claims they can make tamales or doughy tamales and no meat and that is not for me. Until I went to Tellez. TELLEZ IS NUMBER ONE!! Meaty, favorable and thin masa that completes the making of a tamale. IT is Perfect!! TELLEZ is on 1737 S. Gen McMullen and I highly recommended to those that know what a tamale should be like and are looking for the Mexican style of Bon Apptit in Tellez Tamales and overall great food. Alicia O'Neal
