I just took my wedding dress to Alvina's Tailor Shop and I am so pleased! These ladies were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. My dress looked so beautiful and it fit like a glove. I was worried because it was too big when i tried it on. It needed a lot of work to get it fitting just right. I don't know how they did it, but it was perfect. Thanks again! Lisa N.

Alvina has been doing alterations for my family since I can remember. I have told all my friends and family about the best Tailor I know. She has been at that place for such a long time. My kids don't mind going to have their uniforms altered because they are so friendly. I guess you could say they are a kid friendly place. My daughters picture was even hanging on her wall of fame for some time. As long as Alvina's is open I will never go any where else. We have never been disappointed. Give them a try and see how professional their work is and how much they make you feel at ease.

Alvina is a Master Tailor and worked with Frost Brothers for 11 years. Alvina's specializes in women's, children's, and men's clothing. Including business and formal attire. We alter all brands from the finest most expensive to the more reasonably priced. Careful dedication and the best threads , machines, and most up to date techniques are used to provide the best service possible.

- We are located off of 281 and Thousand Oaks. We are in the Park Oaks Shopping Center next to Rainbow Cleaners across from Sherlock's Pub.This shopping center also features a Big Lots, Bally's Total Fitness and John The Greek!

- We have altered all different kinds of garments from the most expensive to the more reasonably priced. Each garment is treated with the up most respect and careful attention to detail. We do professional work every time. Every garment is steamed, bagged, and ready to wear in most cases. We have over 35 years of experience, resulting in superior quality and satisfaction. We are a family owned business. All of our customers are treated like members of our family . We have been at this location going on 18 years. Our tailoring experience comes from 11 years of working with Frost Brothers at North Star Mall. We have a relationship with Tommy Bahama and The Limited at La Cantera and North Star Mall, and are their preferred alteration professionals. Tommy Bahama and The Limited refer all their alteration needs to us. Alvina's Tailor Shop is now under contract with Delta / Northwest Airlines, and we are providing all their San Antonio based employees with superior alteration services as requested by the Company.
