Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley provides a safe, enjoyable day program for elderly and impaired persons who are unable to remain at home unsupervised. We can make a life-changing difference for people who care for a parent, adult child or sibling. In many cases, we are the support network that allows families to stay together. Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. Many people who attend our programs do so at minimal cost to their families. Our services are sometimes covered by Veterans' benefits or Medicaid for eligible persons. Federal funds may also be available to certain individuals who are not eligible for Medicaid but who need financial assistance to attend our program. Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley consults with families to determine what financial resources may be available to offset the cost of care. Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley is an independent, non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. We are a United Way of Roanoke Valley partner agency and a member of the National Adult Day Services Association, the National Council on Aging and the Virginia Adult Day Services Association.
