My hair was a mess (color & length) when I stopped in to make my 1st appointment. Caitlin is now my stylist for as long as she'll have me! It's taken us a few sessions together but she now knows my hair & does a WONDERFUL job. I love the fact that it's a smaller neighborhood salon. I've never felt rushed or out of place. They do a great job decorating for the Holidays (makes me smile). The staff is friendly.

First timer at The Villager Salon & Spa in New Brighton !!! I won a free brow wax coupon at the Stock Yard Days Festival. LOVE this salon . So happy to have found a place always putting my needs first. They have great prices and even better services. I always love to change my hair color so I am always looking for something new and exciting , all the stylists have wonderful ideas and often consult with one another to come up with something for me. Hope everyone gets a chance to take a peek in this super CUTE and clean salon! I will be a lifer at The Villager for sure!

My BFF and I went the Villager for a crowd cut mani pedis. The salon is small but cute. We had a good time, really fun to be able to sit next to each other and have our nails done at the same time. I didn't mind that they used a portable foot spa, I got a really good pedicure and love the gel polish. I suggest you try this salon if you and a friend want to hang out and relax, laugh and have a good time.

I went here for a mani and pedi, I walked in to this room where there was a little portable foot tub that I have at home which is very tacky. I could have saved my money and did my mani and pedi at home I was very very disappointed, the tech didn't cut the cuticles, clean under the nails, soak my fingers in water, file my nails down or shape them I didn't get a massage like I normally do when I go to the Asian nail places and I pay alot less there. I can't believe how much I paid to have my nails done, I'm never going back cause I could do a better job at home at least I keep the polish on the nails not on the skin too..The tech who did my nails was very nice... but the quality was lacking in this place.

I love this salon. My entire family has been coming here for years and will probably never go anywhere else. My stylist, Jessica, is always does a great job, takes her time and even stays late after the salon has closed to make sure that everything I came in for is perfect. She has even concocted a secret formula for my hair color only. She's done my hair cuts, colors, highlights, waxed (and colored!) my eyebrows, manicures and pedicures and does a fabulous job every single time. Honestly, I don't think I could every trust anyone else with my hair.

I purchased a coupon online and was excited to have saved $ over my regular salon so I thought I would try a new place. I had highlights, haircut, and hand massage done as part of the online coupon. My hair is brunette and I had blonde put in for summer. I looked like a tiger. Some strands were orangy color in spots and way too blonde in other spots. Also it looked like I had 2 months regrowth. My haircut I just wanted a trim but it seemed she couldn't get it even and kept taking more and more off. My hair is one length and straight! She almost forgot about my hand massage which was part of the pkg until I said something and that wasn't anything special- just dipping my hand in paraffin wax. I left with damp hair which was not styled or flat ironed- it looked a mess. I will not go back. Wasn't even worth complaining about as I didn't even want them to re-do it. On a positive the lady that did my disaster was very nice and chatty.

The pedicure was one I could have done at home. The woman who booked my appointment was rude and short with me. The salon was difficult to find, and the owner kept pushing me to purchase additional services, even after I had made it clear I was not interested she was still pursistant. The only enjoyable part of my visit was the girl who did my manicure and pedicure was sweet and nice, and I liked that she was available during the day, even though my daughter could not get in at the same time as me she seemed very apologetic and was understanding of my frustration. I would not go back to this salon.

I had a voucher I used and the quality was poor, the gal who performed my service took far too long, as if she had no idea what she was doing, I have never had a pedicure and manicure take two and a half hours. She did not seem to care about stimulating conversation, she just kept talking about her daughter and son and her other job.. I did not want to be rude, but I wanted to just relax which was difficult also because her tools looked as though they had never been disinfected.

My friend and I had purchased an online deal for a manicure/pedicure, and we loved the fact that we were able to both get in at the same time, seated right next to each other upstairs. I realize you can do that at other nail places, but this salon had a closer, intimate feeling so that my friend and I could talk without having a row full of other people and staff hanging on our every word. The place was clean and cozy and we are definately going back.

As much as social media campaiges have helped to open & introduce us to a multitude of new clients, There is a learning curve involved with making them work smoothly. We have always taken the clients best interests to heart weather they are full paying or social media clients. We have also gone out of our way to let clients know that we are not a big box salon/spa, but a small "Boutique type" Salon and Spa. As such, we Do have a compleate mani/pedi area (w/ Deluxe pedi Throne) in our lower level spa area & with the overwhelming responce to a recent social media sale of 240 mani/pedi services, we opted to add 2 additional temparary stations in our upper level to enable clients to get thier appointments in a timely manner and for us to acco

Bad overall vibe and quality did not seem to be there. I had hair color all over sides of my face/neck after leaving, and stylist almost over charged me $30 and I my groupon included a wax which I couldn't get because the ast. wasn't available so now I still have a $20 voucher. Very unhappy w/overall experience. Would not go back.

The staff is very nice. I can't speak for the hair or massage, but they use a foot spa that you can buy at Target for their pedicures and the quality is just not there!

Frances gave me a great hot stone message. It included face, hands & feet. 90 minutes of heaven. I am going back next week & expect I'll be a regular here. I am glad I found this Salon. Nice atmosphere, nice people. I liked the people, location, & service. I have had many messages. This was one of the best.
