Having had Radiesse injections from other clinics with great results, I thought the Aurora MEDICAL spa would provide the same. Not so. Radiesse was aggressively massaged into my nasal labial folds from the inside of my mouth, a new procedure to me. My prior treatments have only involved external massage. The very next morning after my treatment, I woke up with bruising on my inside lip spreading upward inside my mouth . WORSE: A RED SPLOTCHY RASH covered my cheeks WITH DARK PURPLE STREAMERS ON MY NOSE. Calling the spa, they were not very responsive until I called BioMed,manufacturer, of Radiesse, who has claimed rashes do occur OCCASIONALLY. A week later, disconcerted, hearing nothing from the spa, I called Aurora's plastic surgeon, who defensively maintained, not their fault. He said Radiesse did NOT cause rashes--ever, prescribing steroids for me. As of 5-29-09, my face has finally improved. PATIENTS, BEWARE!  (Hide)
