      SCI Engineering is a multidisciplinary firm that offers engineering consulting services throughout the Midwest. Founded in 1978 as Soil Consultants, the firm specializes in providing geotechnical, construction observation and material testing services. SCI Engineering has more than 200 employees, and maintains a presence in St. Charles, Mo. Its staff includes geotechnical engineers, geologists, archaeologists, biologists, earth scientists, construction experts and engineering technicians. The firm s construction group inspects procedures and tests materials to verify that project specifications have been met. Its natural resource group is staffed with soil scientists, biologists, ecologists, botanists and wildlife conservationists. SCI Engineering also operates a cultural resource group that offers in-house services for archaeological and historic property assessments.
