      It is a positive and practical way of changing your life for the better. The Unity movement was founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in 1889 as a healing ministry based on the power of prayer and how the power of our thoughts creates our own reality. The Fillmores regarded Jesus as the great example rather than the great exception; interpreted the Bible metaphysically; and taught that God is present within all of us. Here at Unity of Sachse we strive to support each other to be metaphysical thinkers to go within, quite the mind to not think about things in our physical world, and to let Spirit talk to us and guide us. We seek to meet the needs of all people by offering a safe haven that teaches love for each other and continued enlightenment through our Sunday messages, workshops, classes and our outreach. We practice the universal spiritual principles of love, abundance, wholeness, and happiness as taught by Jesus Christ, and strive to be a loving and supportive community for understanding our oneness with God. We believe that all people are created with sacred worth and encourage everyone to appreciate who they truly are and to see themselves and each other as God see us: Wise, Healthy, Loving, and Prosperous. We recognize the importance of serving all people within the Unity family in spiritually and emotionally caring ways. We welcome people of all faiths and belief systems who seek a more spiritual life and a deeper understanding of the divinity that exists within each of us. There are no strangers at Unity Church of Sachse, only friends and kindred Spirits.
