Our school is a non-profit organization, administered by the Executive Director for the Board of Directors. LSA is approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education as a private school with diploma-granting privileges, and is approved for special education purposes by both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Departments of Education. LSA is a member of the New Hampshire Private Special Education Association, the Learning Disabilities Association of America and the Coalition of Essential Schools. Our students experience success on a daily basis, the methods employed by our experienced and well-trained staff are valid and reliable. Classes range from individual tutorials to groups of as many as ten students, the typical class rarely exceeds six students. Classes are structured yet dynamic, individualized but meeting high standards, feedback is positive and immediate, and the atmosphere is supportive yet challenging.

More Day School, Elementary School, High School, Private School, Secondary School, Specializing In Enhanced Education For students With Language, Reading and Speech Disabilities LSA students come from many towns in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Some ride the bus for as long as 1 1/2 hours just to get to our school, others are transported by their parents or family members. School guidelines, along with parent and student responsibilities, are outlined in the student handbook. The family members of our students come from many professions: artist, baker, consultant, doctor. A to Z, this is a diverse group with the common interest of providing the best educational opportunities for their children. There is a robust and resilient cooperative spirit among the staff, the students and the families. LSA supports building a strong community, which is one of respect for self and others. Families are always welcome to visit and volunteer time. There are many opportunities for involvement for each member of the community.Less
