(More) I often go to the highway 2 Cenex in Rugby during the evening and overnight hours and have been very disappointed in the quality of service lately. The store is inadequately stocked. I have often had to ask the cashiers at the front desk for coffee cups, lids, napkins, bottled water and pops and would have to wait while someone restocked them. Additionally, I have been told by the Hot Stuff staff (at around 8 pm) that they cannot make me subs but will only make me pizza. Unfortunately I do not want pizza. There is one cashier at night with a long and unkept beard that sits on a stool and can't be seen and seems not to want to wait on customers. Also, I have had to wait several minutes for cashiers to stop playing on their phones to be waited on. I would think that a store like cenex would have better trained and more professional employees. (More) I have been a long time resident of Rugby and customer of the Cenex c-store on highway 2 in Rugby, but I have recently noticed a disturbing trend. The cashiers, mostly male, have a less than professional appearance (scraggly beards, wrinkled and dirty uniforms), lack of basic customer service skills, are rude and use fowl language in the presence of customers. The store is often dirty, restrooms are filthy and not properly stocked, trashcans overflowing with trash. Has there been a recent change in management? I hope someone in management takes this to heart and makes some much needed improvements at this store especially with the staff. This store needs some effective leadership and supervision. Not sure what has happened recently but this store has taken a turn for the worse. Please fix this. (Hide)
