stay as far away from this cab company if u like life.they all drive way to fast trying to make money.rude phone people and owner slash manger-what a joke. ripps off his own drivers.they r not the only game in town they just think they r.they r always the highest priced cab and they think they r doing u a favor.save yourself some money call someone else.there r other cabs in the area.

I used this taxi service for the first time and was quite impressed. The dispatcher was pleasant and the quoted fare was reasonable. The driver was pleasant and even drove nicely. Would recommend.

village taxi are the biggest crooks EVER!! i usually pay $10 from my house to the library which i know for a fact is 2 zones away well today 6/8/2012 I called village from the library for the same trip that cost $10 to $14 at the most, now not only did they take 40 min to arrive they attempted to charge $19 now when asked why was the fare this price both dispatcher and driver found it amusing and refused to answer my questions which were: Q.why is it this much I go to library every week and I pay $10 there and $10 back? (A). thats the price (Q) what do you guys charge per zone? (A) told the driver to get the money and get her out the car then proceeded with this is why you get the money first (never answered my question by the way) then the dispatcher said either get the money or call the police so I gladly asked the driver to call the police and I had the money ready but I said I dont have a problem paying if the price was correct for driving 2 zones i only ask how much they (village taxi) charges per zone and the dispatcher refused to answer my questions but made great effort to antagonize me and threaten with police I didnt commit any crime all i wanted to know was why village taxi felt the need to add an extra $5 i will not ever let anyone get over on me that is not how i operate i pay when its legit the other day i paid $27 to go to St. Catherines with no problem because thats how much it cost but these crooks get away with what their doing because nobody speaks up well get ready (VILLAGE TAXI) what you guys are doing is wrong and i will be reporting you to any and every agency that you must abide by and i promise you scandalous pigs will be made public for how you try to SCAM hard working people out of their money ...for all who need great taxi service where you ll always be on time and pay the price it REALLY cost don t waste your time or money with village taxi ---CALL ALLRIGHT TAXI (631) 612 - 8871 you ll never be robbed (that s for sure) ...the driver of this incident was Anthony and the dispatcher s name was Lou ( just to add my fiancee takes the taxi(village) every night from the train station every single night and this is how they treat their customers --but only YOU the PEOPLE can make the changes this country needs and we can start by not taking any more crap especially from a disgusting taxi service, better and honest taxi drivers coming soon so keep your eyes open for the numbers I will post them .
