The person behind the counter wanted to charge me $60 for a fix that required three screws, and a 29.99 appraisal. I needed the repair done and asked him if he had time to throw three screws in the bottom of my computer. He assured me that the whole computer needed to come apart, not knowing that I had made this same repair on another computer before. I assured him it was just the three screws that I needed . He pointed to a rack of computers behind him, and said all theses people are ahead of you, and reiterated his cost to me again. I took my computer and left. Thank god a friend of mine hade a junk laptop of the same make. Screws fit fine. Computer works fine. I would have let them fix it if he had been reasonable. $99.99 for three screws. DONT GET SCREWED. TRY SOMEPLACE ELSE.

We have used Lyte Speed on a number of occasions for repairs and purchases of computer equipment. I have found the staff to be helpful and patient and have always found it impressive that the owner is right there on the floor working with customers too. I have purchased 3 computers from lytespeed for myself, and family. They have been working great and I am very glad I chose them over one of the big box stores. I had a motherboard go in mine, and when I went into the store to have them look at it I feared the worse (had a horrible experience with Dell). However within 45 minutes I had my computer back with a new motherboard and it didnt cost me anything! They build great computers and their service is top of the line.
