My knowledge of cars equates to basically when something sounds squeaky or grind-y, get it looked at. So when my car made some crazy sounds when I would touch the brakes, I knew I had to take it in.



This brake shop is a few miles down from my condo - unassuming but has been around for a few decades now. Called the shop when I left work - was able to be seen within 20 mins and the whole job (brake pads, rotors and 1 caliper) was done in under 1.5 hrs. Price-wise Steve & Scott are straight-forward... not trying to upsell anything, or have you purchase windshield wipers or extra tires or anything. I expected to have to spend at least $700-$800 of the whole deal and the final price came below that.



Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs their brakes looked at/fixed and want to support the local business.

As promised to them, I felt obligated to provide a SUPER positive review about them to anyone who is considering a mechanic to work on their car. The guys here were VERY personable and just happy to be available to help you with whatever was going wrong with the car. They were honest about what needed and did not need to be replaced in the car, even showing us just what they were looking at (how much the brakes were worn down, what the sway bar did when he pulled it). And the price, SO reasonable, another customer came in and said she had been coming here for 5 years and couldn't find better service and price for her repairs.
