Had my first gun purchase from this establishment up until then I'd only gone to on Target. They ordered a gun for me that they don't normally carry in stock and I was extremely satisfied with the whole process and the overall cost. to be honest I'm not even sure if they marked the gun up so they could make a little something and if they did it could not have been more then 10-20 dollars. I already have my second gun on layaway there. Yes one of the people there is not a big talker but I don't feel he is trying to be rude he's just quiet. The other guy there is the opposite and can be a joker (in a good way). I'm an optimist and if I am happily satisfied with an experience I am generus with stars but these guys did nothing to subtract from my experience or my purchase. Just stop in there. The selection is great for a small store the prices are fair and given their location they could get away with charging more.

This is the only gun shop I use. WHY? Because they know me. Its not crowded. They arent pushy salesmen. AND they can pretty much order whatever you want. For at least two years maybe longer, all i ever did was look here. I probably drove them nuts. I bought bullets and a holster here and there. Since 2012, I have now purchased three guns there. Wont buy anywhere else. Although i give the selection a 4 because there isnt a HUGE amount of guns (like on target) they far exceed their competition in service and the fact that they will order exactly what you want. Great place.

This was my very first hand gun purchase. I got prices from other competitors and this place beat the other's. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and even gave me a lesson in breaking the gun down for cleaning. They didn't have the specific gun that I wanted but ordered it in and was ready for me in two days. Getting my second gun from them as well. Another ordered in item. Can't wait!!

Do not buy any thing from this place I buy a lot of guns and when I came here because it was close they were rude and very disrespectful they act like your money is too good for them don't spend any money here

Had my pistol delivered to Bullets and Barrels from J&G Sales. Delivery was smooth and quick and picking up the gun from Bullets and Barrels was pretty easy and straight forwards. The customer service however is something that needs to be changed. Shortly after picking up my new handgun my wife had thrown away my msp slip that I needed to regester the gun with (she thought it was junk paper) and I had called them to see if I could get a new slip. While talking to them on the phone and the guy explaining my situation to his boss or coworker (he clearly did not know how to handle the situation) I heard in the background one of his coworkers or boss say "wow he's stupid". They then said I could pay 5 dollars for a new slip. I went to the sheriffs department however and was able to have them work with me instead so I did not need Bullets and Barrels help anymore. When I called back to tell them that I did not appreciate being called "stupid" and they would not get my business in the future and that this kind of behavior is unprofessional the owner simply said "ok Thanks" and hung up.

Good prices. Good selection. Great guys working in there. Always happy to give them my business.

Bullets and Barrels....great, helpful guys to work with. They will order. They are, a lot of times, less expensive than a lot of other places. They have many arms and ammo, knives and accessories.

The first time I bought from them I was looking for a hard to find gun. I went through all dealers on the smith and Wesson site from closest to me until I got to them, 1+ hours away from me. They were the only ones that. Had it that did not jack up the price just because they could. They then held it for me while I drove up there. Then after talking to the owners, I really started to like them more. I have now bought several guns there. Worth the drive every time!!

Bob is probably the best shop owner I've had the opportunity to purchase from. Don't have your gun in stock? No problem. Made an order for the exact gun I wanted and beat the competitors price as well. I moved to Florida but for my next purchase I am willing to wait until my next visit to Michigan to support his shop.

The best gun shop I've been to on this side of the state. Much more friendly and personal than other shops in the area.

Knowledgable, always professional and a true joy to work with. I drive all the way across our county, passing another competitor, because I am not an expert - but these guys are and I know they won't do me wrong.

The team at Bullets & Barrels is the only shop I recommend to those I teach. For sidearms (handguns), rifles (tactical and hunting) and any accessory for them from optics they have always exceeded my expectations for service. I use a custom AR15 built by them. All the sidearms I currently own I purchased from them. Most of my optics were ordered purchased through them and I have been very happy. If any of my purchases had issues they worked to solve them efficiently and quickly.



And at the end of it all you will have to search real hard to find a better price

I have been going here for quite awhile now, I have bought reloading supplies and Firearms from Bob and his prices are very reasonable.I found a 1911 that I had been looking for here,that Hastings and west main gun shops didn't have because of shortages at the time.The owners have always treated me good and have never gouged when there were tough times for all shops. To find guns and supplies.The shop has always been clean,yes a small shop but very good selection of guns.Thanks for the great service guys I will continue to do business here and recomend to my friends.

The prices are low for the surrounding area and they are usually stocked with the latest products. Guns, holsters, bullets, and accessories they have it all. Very friendly staff that even my wife likes to buy from. I will keep shopping there for my shooting needs.

Bullets and Barrels is one of the best kept secrets in the Kalamazoo area for all of your fiream and ammunition needs. They have an excellent selection of both handguns and longuns, including the tactical arms that are so popular today. I purchased a Springfield "Loaded" 1911 there this past weekend and it was priced at nearly $100 less than the two biggest competitors in the area. They also had ammunition in stock, and spare magazines. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They even helped entertain my kids and answer my wife's questions about conceal carry handguns while I filled out my paperwork.

I'm not entirely sure where the negative post came from, but I'll offer my thoughts on this business.



First and foremost, this is my favorite gun shop in the area. I bypass all others, even if pricing is better elsewhere, because I know the owners/employees will take care of me. I'm an avid shooter, former active duty Marine Corps infantryman, and I take this sport (along with self defense) very seriously. The staff is courteous, respectful, and are willing to help at all costs.



The firearm selection naturally dwindled thanks to the best gun salesman the US has offered (Mr. Obama himself), but before that, and especially lately, the stock has been amazing. The firearm selection is vast and will cater to the casual shooter, hunter, or someone just looking for a self-defense firearm. They also have plenty of options for the avid daily shooter.



The shop itself is well kept along with the firearms & glass displays. Personally, I own firearms and treat them as tools. My guns get dirty, and I have no problem with wearing out my finish. So, while all the guns here are perfectly clean, if you plan on buying a firearm for it to look pretty you may be purchasing it for the wrong purpose. Some guns may have factory packed grease/oil as a protective barrier against corrosion, but that is completely normal. Break-in periods on guns are real, folks. Wipe down the grease, give it a good cleaning, and send some lead down range.



In closing, I really do love this place. It's a perfect gem in the small village of Richland, and I don't plan on going anywhere else. The Glock 19 sitting happily in my waistband was purchased from a quality, professional, non-smelly odored business (and employee/owner). Now, if only I had more money to spend so I could pick up that 10/22 tactical I would be set. I really need a nice plinker.

Not overpriced at all when comparing to other shops in the greater Kalamazoo area. (Some of bullets and barrels firearms are well below the normal prices in the area).

By far the best gun shop in the area. Small shop with a surprisingly large variety. Always someone willing to wait on you too. Their prices are good and their trade-ins are very fair.
