This place came highly recommended by some friends of ours, and saw that they also had a high rating. We're glad we came. Excellent sushi and entrees. Our favorite was the Red Dragon roll, beautiful presentation, and taste. The shrimp tempura platter was light, crispy and delicious. Atmosphere very relaxing, friendly staff, will be back again soon.

The food is excellent. The Hawaiian curry with a hint of spicy #3 was just right for my palate. We shared a lettuce wrap appetizer, and that was pretty tasty. This restaurant is upscale, but the prices are reasonable for the amount of food and quality of the food that is served. Everything is fresh, and we enjoyed the casual island atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and at ease the moment you are greeted and seated. We went on a super busy night, (we know now why it's so busy, it's the best place in town!) Our server was informative and friendly, and although we were informed from the start that there would be a wait for our food, (which was totally understandable), we enjoyed the atmosphere, our drinks, and the music. It was well worth the wait. We'll definitely be back. We love the food!

We were impressed with the blend of flavors presented in their dishes. I had the Hawaiian Kalua pig, my family had the Shrimp tempura, Grilled teriyaki chicken, and Hawaiian beef curry with a spicy #3. (You can request to spice up any dish from a hotness of 1-5, with 5 being the hottest.) It was all very good, as we got to taste each other's entree. We also shared a large macadamia chocolate/white chocolate cookie (which they bake fresh, and served warm with a generous scoop of ice cream.) Wow, it was filling and satisfying. Great atmosphere, friendly staff with an "aloha" spirit, it was quite enjoyable. We will be back.

Great comfortable, upbeat, and classy atmosphere with painted murals of Island scenes from Hawaii. You're greeted with an Aloha smile from a friendly server, ready to answer any questions you may have about the menu. Their menu reflects a diverse blend of cultural influences ranging from the Hawaiian roast pig called Kalua pig, (our favorite), to curries, Rib-eye steaks and shrimp tempura, to grilled teriyaki chicken and seared Ahi tuna salad. They have an amazing sushi bar, which we love, and offer signature sauces to dip your sushi in, this is the first place we've been where these flavorful sauces accompany your sushi orders. Their tuna is flown in fresh from Hawaii, and you can definitely taste the difference. A fabulous place located in the middle of southeastern Idaho is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. WE are SOOO excited to have Da Pineapple Grill here in Rexburg. We don't have to drive hundreds of miles to get GREAT food and service!!
