I have found Computer Village's staff to be attentive, thoughtful, and informed, when I can get their attention. They are frequently busy, focusing on the customer in front of them. The "too-busy" problem seems to be made worse because issues frequently bog down. In both my case and those of people served ahead of me while I wait, the staff seems to have a hard time cutting through complications and either getting stuff done quickly, or determining they can't resolve the issue now, or deciding they can't resolve it at all. All of my purchases have been long slow slogs, if not regarding picking the product or solution, then always a failure to make the credit card I use everyday work in their card reader, minutes struggling with that, then always a slow conference among staff about a work-around. I'd shop there more frequently if not dreading the struggles.

This is a very friendly business establishment UNTIL YOU MAKE A PURCHASE. Employees should be reminded that their paycheck comes from people making purchases or having repairs done in the store. Also, ask 3 employees the same question -and you receive 3 different answers.

I live in California but used to live in Rapid City 8 years ago. I purchased a Mac from CV and last July wanted a refurbished Mac and in one call I got a great computer that showed up to my door set up and ready to go. Now its Christmas and I am thinking of getting my son one and Computer Village is the fist an only place I'd go. Thanks guys for making it so easy .
