The site was spacious and most appeared to be shaded. Tent campers will want to be aware that most of the sites are dirt and gravel - more suited to RV/ pop-ups. There are no concrete pads. They did provide assistance getting our camper turned around and positioned in the site after dark. This is mostly a seasonal campground. It was pretty quiet. The one operating bath house was reasonably clean, although only three out of seven toilet stalls were operational. All four showers (the only women's showers) seemed to work. They are the kind you have to hold on, which was a slight challenge showering preschoolers and washing waist length hair. The water was barely warm enough to be comfortable. The playground was pretty nice. The pool looked small and is only open July and August. Mini golf wasn't set up either, and did not look like it had been in recent years - although they advertise it on the site. They had a Sunday pancake breakfast by free will offering that was nice. They charged $3/person for our friends to visit even though the pool and mini- golf were not even available. Get your wood ahead of time. They charge $7 for a very small bundle. Ice was a more reasonable $2.The owner angrily yelled at me for going faster than the 5mph speed limit. I doubt I was doing more than eight or ten. Even after apologizing, no excuses, etc. he angrily huffed away still muttering loudly. A friendly reminder would have made the point. The key card gate pass ($10 refunded on check out) seemed a little over the top. The cost might have been better invested in the bathrooms and facilities.Would I camp here again? I'm not sure. It wasn't terrible for the price, but it doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies. For RV campers with full services on board it might not be bad.

The owner seems to have a Nepolean Complex. People that have been camping there for YEARS have either been Kicked out or left due to the rudness and bad personality of the new owners. In the past 4 years the campground has gone from bad to worse. They used to have events for the kids and adults every weekend. The new owners are only interested in making a quick buck. Barley anything to do. If there is any room for complaint they simply kick you out. They have even had people arrested for being on the property when these people paid for the night. Simply put you'd be better off paying more to stay somewhere else. Not to mention they seem not to care that there is an entire campground and only one set of bathrooms. O and the weekend my family went my 2 young teen kids saw 2 teens having sex on the playground and a whole bunch smoking marajuana. Not at all good
