Grew up eating pork from the main store in Pikeville, moved to Raleigh & was thrilled to know they have an outlet 10 minutes from my house. GREAT sausage just wish theu stayed open longer & more days.

For a number of years we have been buying all our pork at your outlet at the Raleigh Farmer's Market. It has NEVER been less than perfect! Every pork chop is worthy of serving to company. Your frozen chops are simple to repackage to fit our needs and the price cannot be lower, averaging $1.69 a pound (buy one get one for $1 a pound). The taste is fresh and makes pork not just another protein but a highlight of all dinners. The staff in Raleigh is knowledgable, helpful and most friendly. They are remarkable--everyone of them. They are more than employees and deserve a huge pat on the back. If I am ever in a position too hire excellent personnel, I am raiding your staff first---promise! You make each pork dinner a dinner to remember. Hubby says that I am your best advertiser. (I stop customers pork shopping in grocery stores and tell them about your pork and your location.) The breakfast sausage is among the best I have ever had and the bone-in, refrigerated, smoked hams are almost always excellent. I rate them five stars for what they do well. Their sausage and hams are really tops. Cuts of meat like ribs, roasts, chops, etc. are, however, not at the same level. They are far too lean. Pigs are supposed to be fatty. Hey, Nahunta, where did you put all that piggy fat that is supposed to be there? Bring it back, please.

The Nahunta Pork Center outlet is great place to shop. The pork is always fresh and plentiful. The appearance of the market is always neat, clean and sanitary. The staff members are very friendly and eager to serve they go above the call of their duty to offer exemplary customer service. I like that as a patron I have the option to place special orders to be delivered the following week.
