My mom was at the City of the Oakes a few years ago, and died. They took care of her well I can go back now and they remember me..nurse and cna.. About two years later my mother in law was there ..Her stay was good. I am so thankful for the City of the oakes..... Former family member......

May 28 went to visit my father-in-law, we were put what was suppose to be a more quiet place, but it was not. My husband and I needed to go take care some personal business. We left at 10am we told the attendant to please take my father back to his room, we returned at 2 am my father was still in the same location. My father cannot speak and is fed through a tube. He had fallen asleep, with droll and some type white stuff coming out his mouth. What if he choked noone would care. This place is horrible. They treat the patients like a thrown away rag.. I observed several health issues.

Constantly have to check up on the service. Missed doctors appointments. Medicines not giving on time and takes days/week to get new precriptions for patient. Aids are not patient helpful. They tell you one thing to get you to put your family in the facility, then do not follow through. Brochures are incorrect.
