Welcome to Premier Powder Coating! We have been in business since 1985, and with our skilled employees and hands-on owner, Premier Powder Coating strives to be a top leader in the powder coating industry. Our goal at PPC is to give customers quality work and service at competitive prices. Most jobs can be turned around in 72 hours or less. Give us an opportunity to prove our service to you. We look forward to working with you. Our services include: * Inspection of the part prior to surface preparation. * On-site sandblasting to remove existing finish, rust, scale or etch to prepare the surface for guaranteed powder adhesion & durability. * High temperature masking is applied & silicon plugs inserted to protect areas that should not be coated. * Inspection for quality after part is powder coated & removed from the oven. * Elevated & ground level loading docks for shipping and receiving. Powder Coating Production Our overhead line has a 3' x 6' window and can handle parts up to 11 feet long. Our state-of-the-art wash system ensures clean parts for superior finishes. Powder is applied with our Gema Spraying System. We have 8 auto guns and 2 manual touch-up guns. This system reclaims unused powder to help minimize costs and is eco-friendly as we can recycle and reuse it. Also at Premier Powder Coating, we reuse/recycle your shipping box. We will save this box and reuse it for the returned items. Our Batch system can handle large heavy parts, such as castings and storage tanks. Our oven is 26Ft deep 10Ft wide and 8Ft high. We also offer sandblasting for mill scale or rust removal. Powder coatings are used on thousands of parts and products. For a small example: * Sports/Recreation Equipment: Ski poles, bikes, & basketball hoops * Automotive, Truck, ATV, Motorcycle & Snowmobile parts * Garden Equipment & Lawn Furniture * Store displays, fixtures & lights * Safety rails, hand grips & grab bars * Small parts: hinges, clips & tubes * Large parts: racks, scaffolding, doors, shelves & cabinets What is Powder Coating? Powder coating is a type of dry coating, which is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The coating is typically applied electro statically and is cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. How is Powder Coating Eco-Friendly and Green? Powder coating is an environmentally friendly process unlike solvent-based wet paint systems. The powder coating process does not use solvents in any way, VOC emission problems are eliminated. It is non toxic, can be used on food service equipment and, in it's powder form, is no more harmful than dust. When it is cured it becomes a tough and weather resistant coating for motorcycle frames, car chassis, wheels and outdoor furniture. Powder coating helps make your living environment more livable by offering a host of colors for wrought iron, hand rails and other indoor and outdoor fixtures. What are the Benefits of Powder Coating? There are advantages of powder coating over conventional liquid coatings. Besides being an efficient, economical and environmentally compliant process, it produces a superior finish and provides for both extreme and decorative properties. Color selection is unlimited, available in both high and low gloss, and textures can be varied, providing our customers unlimited choices. Color & Finishes We have a large inventory of in-stock colors to choose from, or you may select from our color charts. Special order colors are also available for an additional charge. Textures include: Glossy, Metallic, Clears, Flats, Veins, Hammer tones, Candies, Glitters and Wrinkles. Depending on the application, powders are available in T.G.I.C. Polyester, Epoxy, and Hybrid formulations. We will assist you to determine the correct color and finish choice for your job.
