I had my first visit to American family pawn today(Feb 22) Kevin and his son were very friendly and very helpful. I had my two sons with me they said that Kevin was very nice to them also. I had a wonderful experience and I plan on going back many times and will recommend them to anyone I know

I would refer this business to my friends & family. As a business owner myself, I think American Family Pawn Shop is a great addition to Powhatan county.

I lost hundreds of dollars buying from Kevin. He shipped the package so improperly that it was stolen. I paid $475 for an item his replacement it was worth $200. I lost $275 doing business with him. NEVER AGAIN!

Its great to have a pawn shop in Powhatan! The owner is friendly, honest, and takes his time explaining how things work. I have delt with Kevin a few times and he researches your items before making an offer. Remember, it is a pawn shop! Don't walk in and expect store prices for things you are trying to sell.

This pawn shop is really nice, he provides alot of good quality items which is a plus, however, I felt pressured to buy something. He would make little comments and was very pushy. Oh yea some prices were reasonable and others you would be better off just purchasing in the store. If your like me I'm a bargain shopper and I look for DEALS, I mean real deals in this day and age.
