DO NOT HAVE A PARTY HERE BECAUSE THE OWNER WILL NEVER GET IN CONTACT WITH YOU....AND HIS MANAGERS HAVE NO SAY SO......I wanted 2 give my husband a SURPRISE birthday party at this establishment....I gave them a 2month notice....The managers At the Deck said everything was a GO!! sooo....I give out over 100 invitation to my family and friends.....2weeks before MY EVENT...I still havent heard NOTHING FROM THE OWNER!!! I AM TALKING 2 THE MANAGERS AND THEY STILL SAYING "YES".....UNTIL the WEEK OF MY EVENT.....the manger tell me i should try 2 have my party somewhere else because the OWNER is not returning their phone calls and not even answering mines....IS IT BECAUSE I AM AFRICAN AMERICAN...I AM SO UPSET BC I HAD 2 CANCEL MY HUSBAND 45TH BIRTHDAY EVENT....THE WEEK OF THE EVENT...SO UNPROFESSIONAL...ONLY THING THE OWNER HAD TO DO WAS TELL ME I COUDNT HAVE IT THERE...INSTEAD OF HIS MANAGERS LEADING ME ON

Took 30 minutes for a caesar salad, which was warm, with soggy croutons. I also ordered an appetizer side of fried oysters, which after asking the waitress 3 times if they were still coming out, eventually had to cancel the order after an HOUR AND A HALF WAIT!! I was with a party of 12 for my birthday, and we were the only table on the floor. They could not have been that busy!



2 others at our table also NEVER got the food they ordered. Instead they had to call it a night with just a salad.



Another friend called me today and stated "after the horrible service from last night, now I checked my bank statement online, and they charged me twice"!!



We were so embarrassed we picked "The Deck" to eat at last night for my birthday. Needless to say, we will NEVER go back. This is the 1st review I have ever wrote, and just want to save others the disappointment.
