(More) After viewing John Carter Last night the producers tried to follow the story line of the book Princess of Mars. Edgar Rice Burroughs May be rolling over in his grave due to obvious errors in the movie Script. As John Carter entered the strange cave he was overcome by a strange gas that filled the cave. As he laid there unable to move, He could see Mars in the night sky calling to him. Then as he strained he could feel the snaping of his spine like steel cables there he stood looking down at himself unable to touch his own body. As he moved into the fresh air, He suddenly found himself transported across space where he awoke on Mars. The Tharks were suprised by his ability to jump over the Incubator and land 100 ft. away. As a fan of ERB. I found the movie was fast paced in parts and enjoyable. I found myself on the edge of my seat a number of times, anyone going to see the movie will want to see it again even fans of Mr. Burroughs. The movie made me feel as though I was there. (Hide)
