A beautiful home that is not comfortable is not a home, just a house! Too cold, too hot, drafty, stuffy, dusty, or just plain unreliable are not the ingredients of comfort. The Heating Specialist has been resolving these problems since 1981. Most heating companies offer a group of installers and technicians, We bring to the table great design based on years of training and experience. We can solve the problems others cant!Whether its a design issue, or a new furnace, boiler, air conditioners, heat pump, ductwork, or a whole new house with Radiant Floor Heating, you can depend on The Heating Specialist to make you comfortable. The Heating Specialist has been servicing the Portland, Oregon area with quality heating and air conditioning services for over 25 years. Our commitment to providing the Portland, OR area with home heating and cooling systems has earned us the reputation for being a leader in heating and air conditioning design, installation, repair and service.Heating and Air Conditioning are the basic means of climate control for homes and building. These systems generally come in two categories: Forced Air Systems and Hydronic Systems. Forced Air Heating is accomplished primarily by means of a Furnace or Heat Pump. Forced Air Cooling is accomplished via Air Conditioner or Heat Pump.Hydronic Systems use Boilers and Water Heater to produce Hot Water which is then circulated to Radiators, Radiant Floors, or Air Handlers to distribute the heat. These systems are generally more comfortable, cleaner, and more energy efficient than forced air systems, but have a higher upfront cost to build.
