They have always helped me get what I need. If they don't have it on hand it's there asap. If I have a question they have an answer or suggestion. Funny part I've never made it to the shop. Luckily the barn we are at they make regular stops at. They carry SO much stuff. Andy is awesome!

Generally bad customer service, but good amount of inventory. Due to several instances of unhelpful or downright rude behavior from the employees I tend to avoid shopping here unless I really have to.

Shady Acres is hands down THE best place to buy a saddle! Theresa is very knowledgeable about her products. She will help you find a saddle that fit you and your horse. They let you try the saddles on your horse to ensure proper fit. The selection of english and western saddles are phenominal!!! Prices are great too! I have personally bought several saddles from there, and they are the first place I send anyone who's looking for a saddle. They have a great selection to fit everyone's budget. For all of your horse's needs, Shady Acres is the place to go!

stopped there today.. was in the area.. about a hour and a half from home.. found it online.. climbed the scary rickety steps,, door locked, came back down...was met by a snarly woman who asked me what i wanted.. i said to look around... she said " we are closed on monday. .. have been for 40 years.. politely told her.. that I live 70 miles away.. so was unaware of her hours... she slammed the door in my face... her loss I was looking for a new saddle and bridle. wouldn't but one from her if she offered it for 1.00

I love this shop. The most reasonable prices in Pittsburgh. If they do not have something you need they will get it.

This is a GREAT shop. If you can't find a saddle here, you won't find it anywhere! It has something for everyone, with a huge variety of all sorts of equestrian 'stuff'.

Great shop and great with kids. I would recommend it to anyone. Tiny but very nice.
