Lynn is an excellent tailor and her work is very impressive. Lynn was recommended to me about a year ago for alterations to my wedding gown. She did an exceptional job and created the most gorgeous wedding gown I have (honestly) ever seen. My dress required a significant amount of work in order to fit me and look the way I imagined on my wedding day. Lynn put an enormous amount of work into my dress -- it was apparent. She has an incredible attention to detail -- she repaired a significant amount of bead work on my dress, added a custom bustle, original beaded straps and made certain it fit me like a glove. Although it was a great task Lynn exceeded my expectations. I have been going to Lynn's Tailoring for the past 12 years , she has been nothing but professional in all her work and ethics, if something should not be altered she will be the first to tell you not to do it. I had my daughter's wedding dress altered at a different place and they ruined it 2 weeks before her wedding, I took it to Lynn and she completely remade her dress in 2 weeks and it was absolutely perfect and beautiful. I have never, in all my years, found a tailoring service that met my needs more than Lynn's Tailoring. They are not only professional and courteous, but they are reliable as well. I needed extra help with my wardrobe (things falling apart, needing let out, needing taken in, and re-lined)...Lynn's Tailoring was the only tailoring service that was able to help me. And I strongly disagree with the last review because I have never felt that I had been overcharged for the work done, and I have never received anything but quality work from Lynn's Tailoring. If you want something done right the first time and not butchered like countless other tailors I have had the ufortunate pleasure of knowing, then take it to Lynn. She even remade my mother's wedding gown for me to wear for my own wedding! I will forever go to Lynn's Tailoring with all of my tailoring and custom design needs! They are truly the only business of their kind worthy to have a 5 star rating!!

Three alterations done were the same as others in the wedding party. I paid $70 more than others who went elsewhere. She wanted us to pay an additional $85 to have the dresses pressed while this was complementary at the tailors used by others. She was not good with my young daughter, threatening her that she would not be in the wedding if she did not let her pin her dress and promising a special hanger if she would comply; when the dress was picked up, the hanger was not included. I discussed my concerns over the phone and she became very unprofessional, calling me a liar and trying to promote her services by stating that she does work for the Steelers. I could hear one of her employees making rude comments about me in the background of this call. In my opinion, the outdoor stairs to enter the shop are unsafe for little ones and it is not handicap accessible. If you want to meet someone who sews jackets for Troy Polamalu, go here.
