History : FIBC History It surprises many people, new to Arizona, to discover that there were Black folk here at the turn of the 20th Century in 1900. Research reveals that two new Baptist churches were organized in Arizona in the early 1900s. One in Bisbee and the other in Douglas. The pastor of these churches was John B. Bell, a missionary who was called to minister to the Indian population and the cowboys. Vision : Becoming an Engineering Fellowship through Evangelism and Emancipation.
