Mr. Newman performed no less than a miracle for our family. My son was charged with a felony so we asked for recommendations for an excellent criminal attorney from other lawyers with whom we were acquainted. Mr. Newman's name came up over and over again. We hired him for a very fair price, and he did an incredible job. His competence, knowledge and familiarity with the court system was beyond anything I could have expected. He was kind and compassionate, and despite being incredibly busy, he always found time for us and our son. Needless to say, the result for my son was as good as it gets.

I hired Mr. Newman to represent my son on a felony charge. He was highly recommended by several friends and other lawyers as one of the very best criminals attorneys in Philadelphia. He was always available for consultation without billing me for every call and question - and the fee was quite fair. He just about performed a miracle, leading to the best outcome possible, one which was actually beneficial for my son. He's incredibly familiar with the legal system and able to work closely with the DA's office to ensure a fair outcome. Having never hired criminal legal representation prior to this, I was anxious about the process, but was incredibly pleased to have worked with Mr. Newman who made a difficult situation as comfortable as possible. I can't recommend him highly enough.

George did not act in the best interest of his client when I hired him. At trail he was completely unprepared and disheveled. The younger DA made George look like a rookie. He was unprepared for cross examinations and even prior to sentencing did nothing to locate character references. I do not recommend hiring him at all.This is an update to my previous comments since now Mr Nueman feels he can sue me for defamation of character. Let's be clear, this is my OPINION of Mr Nueman. Maybe what he says is true. Maybe my son was a drug dealer. I don't know that to be a fact but maybe. But does that not qualify him for effective defense when he was being paid to do so. Does that qualify him to yell at me just to apologize and say he's emotional. Maybe my thoughts about a lawyer is incorrect. Maybe it's not about strategy but emotion.

George Newman is an excellent Attorney . He is very open and honest (I believe) with his clients. He is highly respected in the court room and with his colleagues. He works very hard on behalf of his clients to make sure the US judicial system treats them fair and with respect.I had the opportunity to work closely with Attorney on a particular case. I was very impress on how he prepared himself and his client for the good and worst. How he provided support not only to his clients, but to his clients families is as well.
