I need a new c-pap machine and these people are incompetent. I talked to the insurance billing agent and she told me I needed the doctors notes from the prescription he gave me to bill the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they said what I had was fine. I called her back and was told she wouldn't bill without it because she might get audited. I asked by whom, and she said the insurance company. I asked why that would be a problem since they approved the prescription. Round and round we went until I told her she just lost a customer. FYI, there are no 'doctor's notes' just a prescription.

Gulf Medical Services also told me they are so busy and behind, it would be months to receive any equipment. Wow, good thing people don't really need the equipment for their well-being! This industry is forgetting who the customers are and who pays their bills.

Forced to occasionally deliver used equipment as new when supplies was low while being told by the manager it was illegal and insurance fraud but do it anyway. In rare cases competitor equipment is picked up and they scrap the stickers off and replace with their own. Oxygen is filled using left over oxygen from older tanks that have either been collected or returned in combination with new oxygen. Oxygen tanks were not sanitized during my employment.
