(More) i was a former student and it was the biggest waste of my time. i was there from the ages 2-12 and i was in advanced classes and it was the same lousy choreography EVERY YEAR, she took a group of 22 GIRLS and split them to Unadvanced and Advanced and my bestfriend sadly got downgraded therefor i was the only girl from a different school district everyone else was from another one i was pushed outside of a clique and nearly quit a class because no one would talk to me, there was so much drama in the group and everyone was very dosrespectful towards me, all the teachers were too, they are unprofessional and would CONSTANTLY yell at me. And they were'nt even focused on ballet AT ALL therefor no one had correct technique and had no idea what correct termonology, Miss. Holly didn't even know the correct terms for certain moves either. I decided to go to another studio this past year and its actually a professional Ballet academy where i dance 7 days a week and when i first came there they said i am never able to take pointe again due to incorrect teaching and was told my technique was ruined and i had no correct termonology, so there i am being told i was trained incorrectly and i am 12 years old being put with 8 year olds to catch up to the girls my age and even catch up to some 10 year olds who already held national ballet titles, i had to take many technique classes and ive had defective knees due to incorrect learning which have been a huge set back and now i finally have correct 13 year old technique and have been in the nutcracker casted as multiple things and other Theatre plays for ballet. So i do not suggest this studio if your daughter actually wants a carreer in dance. i suggest going somewhere more ballet known. less than a cheap lousy studio held in penn hills that say they help build self esteem because mine was brought down.
