Provided by YP.comA friend and I were touring southeast Arizona when we got to Patagonia. We parked in front of a coffee shop. Just then, a pulley bearing on my Jeep died. On a Sunday afternoon.
The coffee shop owner mentioned AZ Fab & Tow and gave us the number. We called and explained. He said he was less than a mile away and to just drive over. My fan belt had been thrown. He said he'd be right down. He soon arrived with his great dog, Paco, and said my engine was cool enough to drive to the shop even w/o belt. No prob. Didn't know you could do that. Said he'd fix us tomorrow and have us on the road by noon. Let us camp in his yard. Gave us keys to a car so we could go back to town and hang out. Next morn, fixed and on the road by 10:30.
Charges: 1 hr labor $85 ($95+ where I live)
pulley $41 (Napa quotes $30-60)
fan belt $38 (Napa: $30-60)
Crook? Rip-off? Jim was a friendly and generous godsend to us.

Provided by YP.comThis guy is a crook. Brought my truck in for service, never got an estimate (asked for one) but did get an HUGE bill. Jim (owner) was very nasty and refused to give me my truck keys until I paid him. Since then i have heard many many stories from townspeople that they have been ripped off too. Apparently his business model is to rip off everyone once. No one would go back . . .I sure won't. STAY AWAY!!
