Brickton Art Center is housed in a 100-year-old historic storefront building across from City Hall and Hodges Park. Prior to 1873, the community of Park Ridge was named Brickton, where a large brick making facility stood just north of the uptown shopping area. The name Brickton gives a historical perspective as we look toward the future. The Art Center operates with an Executive Director and a Board of Directors. Many volunteer opportunities are available for interested persons. Brickton Art is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by IRS guidelines.
