0I went to pick up my dog from boarding at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was told the dog had not been fed breakfast yet and I was appalled. She said the dog would be hungry when she got home. She also had not been given sufficient water as she continued to drink constantly when she got home. She was very upset in the car and needed to be calmed down when she got home. It must have been a very traumatic experience for her to be so upset - panting and pacing. But not to be fed breakfast by 2:30? She was starving when I got her home. Never again will I leave my dog in their care.
I took my two dogs in for care because my some was graduating from the Air Force in Texas.One of my dogs I had left previously with another kennel once before and when we picked him up we were told not to ever bring him back. I called our vet and he recommended Northwind Pet Care Center. I went and did a walk through beore the day we had to leave and advised him that he coul bite out of fear and he was a lot to handle. The day we dropped him off wit our other dog were were a bit concerned. The day after we got to Texas th kennel called us and told us that he was doing well and that they found out his weak point (Chicken) they carried bits of chicken in their pockets and he was all warm and friendly to their people. When we picked up our dogs he was happly and so was our other old dog. They told us that we could bring himback anytime. I would recommnd checking them out its well worth your time.
Ever since we found Northwind, our vacations have been care free. They treat all their animal guests like they were their own and offer a wide variety of options and services. Our American Eskimo dogs highly recommend them!

The cleanest facilities I have found and can't say enough about the staff, they are wonderful.
They truly love caring for animals and are so great.
If I were a dog this is where I would want to spend my time when my family was on vacation.

Highly recommended! They took awesome care of my dog. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The care is inexpensive in comparison to a lot of local kennels.
