Girard has the equipment, manpower and know-how to tackle virtually any plumbing problem. Girard is who the other plumbers call when they cannot do the job. The staff is well trained and courteous. I rely on Girard for my most difficult plumbing problems and have always been satisfied. Timely response and job completion in one visit are important to me.

After purchasing a cottage in Shapleigh, ME a few years ago, my wife and I searched for a plumber to help untangle the mess of the shoddy 1960s era copperwork. With several references in hand, we contacted Girard Plumbing and Heating, and they have done some major work for us every year since that time, including replacing a tankless water heater, replacing all of our venting, installing an outdoor shower, and replacing the old, corroding copper with pex. They do top-notch work. They consistently call me back, come on time, are courteous and friendly, and their work truly looks like a piece of art. We have had no problems with any of the multiple major jobs they have completed for us. I would highly recommend them to a friend.

I cannot tell you the number of contractors I turn away, just because they are of the opinion I need to fix a problem and professionalism does not count.All of the employees at Girard's plumbing were polite, reliable, demonstrated superior workmanship and were honest with regards to estimates for repairs and the timeframe for the job completion. Everybody from Robin (Office Assistant) to all the plumbers who made repairs in my home performed at a level way above the standard. This is extraordinary and should be acknowledged.My review is based on 3 plumbing repairs made in one year period. To work in my home you have to earn my respect and trust. Girard Plumbing & Heating are the most professional plumbers I have ever encountered. They even wore booties in my house! My husband had tried to fix the leak and they saved us a whole lot of aggrevation. They left our home cleaner than when they arrived. These are true craftsmen.
