We seek to grow a vital congregation of faithful disciples of our Lord Jesus who are worthy of the gospel to which we've been called. Core Values - What We Believe Jesus Died and Rose Again. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 The suffering of this world cannot be compared to the glory of the next (Romans 8:18). In the cross we see the supreme act of unconditional love (Romans 5:8). God is willing to do what ever it takes to have us live eternally in His presence. And though the world might be filled with tribulation, we are of good cheer, for Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33). We covenant to share this victory with all who stand in need of grace and experience the trials of life. This is good news: Christ has died! Christ has risen! Christ will come again! We Worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:20-24 We boldly declare that we are open to the movement of the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher, our guide, our comforter and the anvil upon which we sharpen our faith, John 16:5-11. God gathers this community together to worship Him, and we worship Him in truth, John 8:32. When we come, we bring no facades, no false faces, instead, we come with sincere hearts and integrity, acknowledging our sinful self, longing to be refined in the fire of the God who loves us, Malachi 3:10. God Shall Supply All of Our Needs. Philippians 4:19 We recognize that we are stewards of this world and all that is good comes from God, Genesis 1:29-31. We also recognize that we are not yet perfect, Matthew 5:48. God challenges us to move forward, and each step along the way He takes us to the edge of our faith, Philippians 3:13-14. And whether the next step in our spiritual journey is a step of leadership, or service, or invitation, or finances, as a church we proclaim that we trust in God to provide us above and beyond all we would ever need. We covenant to accept the challenges God places before us, Malachi 3:10. We are Family. Ephesians 3:14-15 We use the language of family. The father has declared, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3). And the Son has promised us His presence eternally, John 17:26. We covenant to care for one another in sickness and in health, through prosperity and poverty, through our prayers and love. We are brothers and sisters, children together of the heavenly Father, and as He promised not to leave us, so too we will not abandon one another. We are in this world, but not of this world. When one falls, others carry. When one rejoices, others sing. When one mourns, others grieve, 1 Corinthians 12:26.This is the way of family, the way of this church. The Word of God is Living and Active. Hebrews 4:12-13 The Bible is the inspired word of God and brings power to our spirit. We are drawn by its irrevocable truth, 2 Timothy 3:16. It confirms, convicts, encourages, and exhorts our spirit to live a Godly life. We seek to have the wisdom to unleash the power for spiritual renewal found in the scriptures. As the Spirit grants us wisdom to know, we shall know. The Bible provides us with the building blocks needed to live a Spirit-filled life. All that we teach is founded upon God's holy word. God Is Good All the Time. Romans 8:28 Though we may not always understand the plans God has for us, We believe God is good! Though we may at times walk through the valley, and sometimes the valley of the shadow of death, we believe God is good! And though all around us seem to curse the God who made them, we believe God is good because we walk by faith and not by sight. We do not see the world as it sees itself. "We live by faith not by sight". Let the Little Children Come to Me. Matthew 19:13-14 At the heart of who we are is the proverb, "train up a child in the way that they should go, and when they grow old they shall not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6). We live in a world of children who are spiritually lost, (Luke 15:11-32) of people looking for a way to come home to Christ. Not only will we receive God's children with open a
