I wish I would have found these reviews sooner. The shop is a ripoff. I needed to have a brake line replaced but once Oscars had my car they said they would not do the repair without replacing the entire rear brake system and doing repairs totally unrelated to the brakes. They also hit me a hefty sum for for towing both ways. Don't go here. No place else will be as bad.

Traveling through and car just shut off called for a tow truck and found oscar's auto they took us there it was just before a holiday and we were trying to make it home. they could of told us anything and i would have believed it and paid it. come to find out the oil sending unit went bad and the computer thought there was no oil in engine so it shut it off to save engine they checked it out and found thats all it was one hour later and 80 bucks were on the road!!!! thank you so much will definately reccommend.

Swindled. On drive from Tennessee to Florida, car broke down and towed to Oscars Auto Center, Ocala, Fl. He replaced the fuel pump, with an OLD, USED one. It was so old, the part no. is almost worn off. Drove 20 miles and car broke down again. I took it to another garage to fix it right. Now, he will not refund me, nor will he do anything about it. Don't let happen, what happened to me. I got swindled. He is probably laughing all the way to the bank.

after reading reviews was hesitant to take in to Oscar but price was too good to pass up---car was completed exactly on time and is working great---he replaced drive belts, timing belt, water pump and gave me all the old parts---He and his crew were extremely efficient and beyond nice. Would definitely go back there again and recomment to others. J

I took my car to Oscar's for an a/c job on my dodge stratus I was quoted a price over the phone and when I dropped my car they said it would be done the same day. I was leary because there were so many cars there but they did have it done and for the same price I was quoted. very happy and I recomend that shop!

To start, the car was not finished on time. After getting the car home, we realized the "new" parts were not new at all and were being held together with DUCTAPE! The car broke down again the very next day.Terrible ethic, terrible service. DO NOT take your vehicle here!

2 years ago after going to Oscars due to my car not starting Oscar kept my car for 2 days acting like he was waiting on a part and when I went to pick up my car he had it on a machine acting like he was juicing my battery meanwhile it was brand new and hannded me 2 different keys and told me one was for my door and the other is for my "NEW STARTER' and they BOTH worked for both the door and the starter he NEVER REPLACED and charged me 260.00 for probally just greasing the starter. He is a RIP OFF artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car was checked by two other shops and I was told It needed a motor I called Oscar's Auto Center and they were about 900 cheaper. So I took it there then to my surprise they called back and said that all it is a cracked flywheel that was making the noise they fixed it and saved me over 3200.00 I was so happy they could have easily said something else and suckered me. Ive been going there now and I send all my friends and family

I'm even reluctant to give him a single star, but he did replace my CV joint in my Accord for a very reasonable price. I continued to bring cars to him, but I have to say the CV joint was the only thing he did right the first time. Had an oil leak. Knew it was rear main seal. He said oil pan. So he changed the oil pan gasket at the tune of almost $300. Leaked again. Yep, rear main seal. $800, but I talked him into giving me a discount because of the previous misdiagnosed repair (he said I probably needed a new oil pan gasket anyway). This last repair led to over $3000 in future repairs because he did not reattach the transmission correctly. Over $500 for parts and labor for a new wiring harness because he didn't follow GM specs, and another $2400 for transmission overhaul because when we drove a half-block away the car immediately seized and we were sitting in a puddle of pink fluid spreading out beneath the car. "Oh, forgot to put the plug back." DON'T GO HERE!!!

It took me over a month to get my car back, because he kept putting it off for other cars, which came way after mine went in for repair. I personally gave him the parts to repair the vehicle. And still I had to wait a long time for the car to even get started to get repaired.
