I was referred to this office by my PCP. The doctor that I was referred to had very little knowledge on the specific type of migraines that I have and kept telling me that he wouldn't be able to give me any kind of medication. I was a bit offended that he kept repeating this and told him that I was not seeking medication, just some answers to a few questions my PCP couldn't answer. He told me that "there is probably someone out there that knows about these migraines but its not me" but would not refer me to anyone. The employees are also very rude. I needed a doctor's note stating my migraine condition for employment. It was difficult to get this letter from the office but when I finally did, the letter had another patient's name, address, and birth date. When I went back to get this fixed, I spoke with a woman who informed me that she was the office manager that gave me an attitude and asked what the problem was. After pointing out the mistake, she rolled her eyes and fixed the paper. Another review about this office states that it is impossible to get any sort of follow up after tests are done, and I sadly, can agree with this. I was sent a bill for the MRI and EEG I had done in the office and have yet to receive any sort of follow up 5 months later. I would never refer anyone to this office after my experience.

this is the most rudest people have ever dealt with after telling me to accept my insurance I drove all the way from Rhode Island and they told me they didn't accept it and they wanted me to pay cash and then the lady called me a liar took me to one skilled employment and they kept canceling it you die before you get to these people it's all about the money it's not about the medical care this is a good group for malpractice lawyer interceptor said the most I've ever dealt with they should all be fired

This is the first review I have ever written for a doctor. I am so appauled by the behavior of this office and doctor that I want others to be aware of this. In the past, this group has had a good reputation and I have spoke to people that have seen Dr. Shiling SR with great results. Well, this is no longer the case. First, It is like pulling teeth to be able to get in to see the doctor. Then, when seeing the doctor for the first time, you are drilled and put on the spot about information that may not be known (maybe because we are NOT doctors). You are made to sit there and feel like an idiot while continuing to be baraided with negativity. To top everything off, once the testing is over the doctor sends the results to your PCP and then refuses to do a follow up to discuss the findings. I am in the health field and totally disgusted by the way they handle themselves.

I would rather die that ever go to this group. After 20 years, one of the doctors failed to do an xray taht was critical to my diagnosis. After a year of suffering, I requested again. He complied, and at that appointment gave me a handicap permit signature for life, saying my injury was permanent.

when the xray revealed damage that had occured and was possibly partially responsible for my leg and sciatia pain, he refused to discuss it with me. He acted very rude, abrupt, and kept talking about another medical issue that he had nothing to do with. Instead he said I did not have this condition that was diagnoised by 4 experts in the field. I told him i was not there for that. I was there for help with my leg and back. Dr Racy came in the room, having been a friend of the patient, as well as a doctor to discuss this issue. Instead of standing up for the patient and saying lets talk about the real reason she is here, he went right along with Racy, this eventually lead to Tauro saying the typical male doctors response..its all in her head. Tauro grabbed my arm yanking me off the table, saying I don't want to talk anymore. His refusual to discuss this was because he should have done it a year earlier, and knew that he goofe. He god like creature had goofed. so instead, I was tossed from the office after 20 years. the male ego is a terrible thing, especially with Doctors behaving badly, I would not recommend this office to anyone, and I will be telling everyone I know, who will tell everyone they know, what occured this day. I have bruises today, that the police officer discounted saying, oh you are slight and bruise easily. I am very strong and healthy, I do not bruise easily. He listened to Tauro lie and say it was not done with malice. My goodness, then how does one leave bruises on a patients arm, three fingers, if he did not squeeze hard. I left this experience understanding what I have been hearing all my life about male doctors and female patients, they can't or won't handle a medical issue, then the patient is neurotic, nervous, mentally ill. I also came out of it understanding that no matter what the reason is, even if a doctor commits a grave error , that most of his fellow doctors will stand by him, like Racy did. He never asked me anything, he just timidly went along with Tauro. People don't ever go to a doctors office alone, because they lie, they write what they want in the records, you would be shocked. Men, don't let you woman go alone if you are concerned for her health and it is a serious issue. My husband got more attention at my doctors appointments than I di. And this never would have happened. He is a man.
