Khan Air is a big name service company with a big scam service practice. I've used them for the past couple of years... (More) Khan Air is a big name service company with a big scam service practice. I've used them for the past couple of years to refill my system with coolant because their is a slow leak (3-4 months to deplete) somewhere outside the main unit. This means that replacing the unit will not do any good. Because I refused to purchase a new system, which will not solve my problem, Khan Air placed me in their system as "Do not service again". I either spend $3,000 or nothing - what a joke! The unit runs fine. It just runs out of coolant once a year. I also paid them to trace the leak and repair it, which of course they never found, but they didn't have any problem taking my money. I just called today for service (11 months later) and received the news, "We will not service this account again". (Hide)

If a customer has a very old or problematic system we may make suggestions on what we feel is the best way to resolve problem economically for both the short and long term. Even though it is considered not to be environmentally friendly, we will recharge any of our client?s residential systems, if they request us to do so, regardless of the offered solutions which they may have chosen not to use. The client is the boss and they sign our pay checks so we will do what is requested. It would have to be a very serious situation to have one of our previous clients to be on a do not service list. Either they didn?t pay their bill or there was very inappropriate behavior. This customer could not have been too unhappy with us since they did called us back to schedule a service call eleven months later after the previous service visit.
