More than 2,000 ingredients are outsourced in the following food markets: bakery, snacks and Confectionary; dairy and beverage; meat, poultry and seafood; and prepared foods. The company offers ingredient blending, logistics services, labeling and special palletizing, small or large volumes, technical support, inventory management, quality control, truckload delivery, freight consolidators, just-in-time service, local cartage and redelivery service. The contract carrier has delivery capabilities throughout the continental United States. The J.M. Swank Company was founded in 1954 as a Bakery Broker. In 1963, the company became a distributor. In 1992, it became a part of ConAgra Foods.
