Here at Anna's Pizza we take pride in everything we make and find not greater satisfaction than hearing back from our loyal patrons. So, to honor our patrons we have decided to use their words to describe our restaurant. Thank you and we look forward to serving you soon! "Anna's Pizza offers delicious Italian food at an affordable price. The pizza is mostly New York style in that the pie is stretched out to a large size. The crust here is really delicious, it's a combination of being kind of doughy but also kind of crunch at the same time - the holy grail of pizza crust." - Jacqui R. "This pizza is made by the gods. It is absolutely delicious." - Clair M. "The pastrami's are the best. Fresh cut, cooked well, all on a great roll. Nothing else needs to be said." - Chris S. "Their subs are amazingly ridiculous! I no longer try new subs, because their Pastrami sub, well...it had me at hello. So much meat I can't even close the sub roll passed a 45 degree angle. Service is good...fast and efficient...especially for lunch (that is if you haven't already experienced an Anna's Lunch Rush)" - Philippe F. "Anna's is great. I actually prefer their subs to the pizza, but either way you go, you won't be disappointed." - Marcus V. "This place is a staple, a sentimental favorite, and a local institution...you'd be hard pressed to find a better Italian take-out place in Newport News. Anna's does just about everything well, though I think their pizzas are the standout, with bread that's neither chewy nor overcooked, lots of cheese, and sauce that's not too sweet. They do a good job with the toppings too, their mushrooms are great. The slices are big, and a large should pretty easily fill a family of three. Their pasta is good too, and you get a lot of it. Their subs are tasty, and are more sub-like (bigger bread, for example) than Subway, whose offerings are really more like a regular sandwich. Their Greek salad can be had as a vegetarian option, and furthermore the menu is large so whomever you're with should be able to find something good." - Jane M.
