A small area needed repair work which was not done properly. I have an old house and there is no subfloor under the hardwoods. In the area that needed replacing, support boards should have been placed underneath the flooring. After a few weeks of walking on the boards, they began to crack. They came out in Sept to repair the area, but still did not fix the source of the problem. The few boards they replaced have split AGAIN because there is no support underneath. I have phoned Pinnacle three times about the problem and left messages for the manager and as of 11/21/09 still have not received a return phone call. Also, during the time the floors were initially being refinished, one of the workers was smoking in my basement. He left a pile of cigarettes on the basement floor, debris from the repairs and in several areas, varnish dripped through and dried. If my car had been in the garage the paint job would have been ruined. (Hide)
