I signed a contract last july for a small window replacement job that I was told would be completed in about 6 weeks. Eight months later, it's still not done, and during that time, they have repeatedly lied to me and even tried to cheat me by installing a vinyl window where I had ordered a more expensive aluminum-clad wood window.  (Hide)

I'm very sorry our customer had a bad experience. We had a extremely difficult time in finding a replacement for one specific custom window at this home. Due to multiple errors from a "former" manufacturing partner, our delays became more and more... (More) I'm very sorry our customer had a bad experience. We had a extremely difficult time in finding a replacement for one specific custom window at this home. Due to multiple errors from a "former" manufacturing partner, our delays became more and more meddlesome. However we did refund the customer's money. Further we refunded him exactly DOUBLE the cost of this one window for his trouble. Our reputation is very important to us.  (Hide)

"Unbelievably poor business. Salesperson all sweet & friendly at first. Went over the whole job with project manager initially, but apparently he didn't communicate our expectations with his workers. We had to go over each window several times... (More) "Unbelievably poor business. Salesperson all sweet & friendly at first. Went over the whole job with project manager initially, but apparently he didn't communicate our expectations with his workers. We had to go over each window several times with different people and they still couldn't get it right. You wouldn't believe the shoddy work! Left mess around perimeter of house. Left nails in the street in front of our house. Didn't return calls. Caulked haphazardly around some windows and skipped others. The list goes on & on. Luckily we didn't pay remaining amount because the work is still not done. Salesperson sends rude email that unless we pay the remaining bill, our warranty is void and they won't fix anything...despite the contract that stipulates that remaining portion to be paid upon completion. We are now finding out that neighbors are also having problems with leaks etc. This and they send over worker with tatooes of Hitler, swastikas, white supremacy signs. out of space.......  (Hide)

Unfortunately, some instances become more personal than business. We openly acknowledged that portions of our project were not up to our own standards including caulking (which was painter caulk and had not been painted so it prematurely shrunk)... (More) Unfortunately, some instances become more personal than business. We openly acknowledged that portions of our project were not up to our own standards including caulking (which was painter caulk and had not been painted so it prematurely shrunk) and some carpentary work. We returned to the home on three occasions. We left each time thinking we were through as the customer indicated each time. However the "punch list" never seemed to end. I personally went out and met the owners and apologized for the way we had unintentionally made them feel. The home owner seemed pleased with this visit and assured us that everything was completed to their satisfaction. I can also attest that every phone call or email ever left with our firm was promptly returned. I hope consumers understand that we won't always be perfect but will do whatever it takes to make a tough situation better.  (Hide)
