New York Methodist Hospital is a voluntary, acute care teaching hospital. Its mission is to provide excellent health care services in a compassionate and humane manner to the people who live and work in Brooklyn and its surrounding areas. New York Methodist Hospital is affiliated with the Weill Cornell Medical College, an Ivy League medical school that is among the nation?s best in patient care, medical education and research. The Hospital is also a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
