Owners sold pharmacy some yrs ago. I've been going there since 1992. Name is same. One of the staff members is still there. Diverse and friendly staff have been hired. Entire place renovated, yet it appears smaller and there's less space for seating for those who have to wait. It's brighter and customers are able to select some items from shelves without having to wait for staff to unlock display case. Regular staff eventually get to know you by name.

A local gem. Mishkin's has been here for 80 years and still looks like an historic pharmacy. It's family owned (not by the original family) and has a friendly, personal mom-and-pop store feeling to it. I try to take my business there rather than to the big cookie-cutter Rite-Aid. It's a little inconvenient not to have Sunday or evening store hours, but that is a price worth paying to keep a business like this in the neighborhood. These little places are part of the fabric of this community. Don't let them die out.
