Our Goal We strive to give each pet the very best bath and haircut every time at a reasonable price. Our History A Cut Above Pet Stylists opened its doors in 1991. We?re now grooming third and forth generation pets for some clients. We started as a one-person salon in the upper Westside of Manhattan and have grown to two locations here serving clients from the entire upper Westside and from throughout the tri-state area. We?re staffed with fifteen or more pet styling professionals so despite our popularity, our approach is the same as it was in 1991-- give individual attention to each and every pet-- just as we did when we first opened many years ago. Our popularity and longevity attest to the quality and consistency to the care and attention we provide. We?re proud to be busy but each stylist/groomer still focuses on only one pet at a time. Many know of us from personal experience with their own family pets. Most other veterinarians in the area know us from positive feedback from their clients and from seeing well-groomed patients at their practice. We receive pets from 8:30am and ?try? to close by 6pm, everyday except Sunday at our West 83rd Street Salon, and everyday except Sunday and Monday at our West 69th Street Salon. For early pick-ups we ask that your pet be checked-in by 10am. For end-of-day pick-ups, you can check-in your pet up to 1pm depending on how busy we are that day. We?re happy to release your pet as soon as we complete the styling/grooming, and will try to work within your schedule. We ask for your flexibility on holidays and busy days when many other clients also want their pet groomed.
