After two holiday weeks of no pickup I was told that I didn't have my trash out on time--except it was placed out there the night before! When I spoke with the manager, she was very unprofessional and rude and wouldn't even acknowledge that it was a possibility that services was not provided as it should have been, no apology, no explanation, nothing! Would not recommend to anyone~!!~~!! (Hide)

I am the owner of Delaware Sanitation, I own and operate it from my home, I am the person that answers my phone and... (More) I am the owner of Delaware Sanitation, I own and operate it from my home, I am the person that answers my phone and sometimes I don't say what someone wants to hear. I find it funny that this person has used my service on two seperate occassions and would like to know who she used in between the times she used me. Maybe that tells us something in itself, after holiday's people have a tendancy to forget that Monday was that holiday and Tuesday is not Tuesday but Monday because of the pick up day being delayed a day. I am sure it was frustrating to the customer to miss her pick up because we don't come back for it untill the next available day that we are in that area. Unfortunately maybe due to holiday she had a abundance of trash and was upset herself that they had missed the pick up. This happens every holiday with a lot of the customers however, we have trucks that get 3 miles a gallon on a good day, and can't just send them out to pick up missed pick up's unless it's our fault (Hide)

Great service for a nice price. What I like best about them is that the workers actually take the time to place my garbage can up next to the house on very windy or rainy days. Just this morning, I looked out and saw that my garbage can had blown over and the lid to it was four houses up and across the street. As I was getting dressed to go retrieve the lid, the garbage was collected. When I came out, my trash can, as well as it's lid were neatly placed next to the house. Now that's going the extra mile!
