History: Country Christian School began in 1978 with six families seeking a nondenominational, Christ-centered, high quality education for their children. With a rented building in Neosho, Wisconsin and two teachers, we opened our doors to 29 children. The school grew rapidly, moving to larger quarters at the Alliance Bible Church in Oconomowoc. The present building was purchased in 1993. In 2010, we changed our name to Lake Country Christian Academy.Vision: Lake Country Christian Academy is dedicated to glorifying God by preparing our students to participate effectively in God's plan for their lives. We encourage the development of the whole person with a program designed to develop the child's cognitive, creative, artistic, and athletic abilities. Our goal is to teach all subjects in the curriculum as parts of an integrated whole with the Scripture at the center(2 Timothy 3:16-17).Our curriculum uses traditional academics to develop and refine reading, communication, and math skills. Our intent is for our gradu ates to be able to analyze information and issues with Biblical discernment which will equip them to be "salt and light" in our society.Lake Country Christian Academy will strive to: 1. Provide a clear model of biblical Christian life through the school staff and board(Matthew 22:37-40).2. Encourage every student to begin to develop a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ(Matthew 28:18-20).
