This was a quiet and shady park with wonderful people. We were on the run from Hurricane Gustav from Louisiana. We drove up to an honor box and left our personal information inside. We arrived at 3am which most people won't allow entry at that time. We were able to get a few hours sleep before driving farther North and the employees at the campground wished us good luck and prayers and didn't charge us a dime with only a "Hope to see you come back again!" That is a promise! Thanks Dry Creek for the hospitality and smiling faces! We needed that!
